Meet Our Owner and Founder, Dr. Amber Perry

Dr. Perry is the Clinic Director. She is a registered Clinical and School Psychologist with the College of Psychologists of Ontario and a member of the Canadian Psychological Association. Dr. Perry obtained her Ph.D. from the University of Toronto and her clinical and research training at the Hospital for Sick Children. She has conducted research through the Department of Psychiatry Research at The Hospital for Sick Children, working in the area of Pediatric ADHD. Dr. Perry was formerly the Chief Psychologist and Mental Health Lead for a school board in Sudbury, Ontario. Dr. Perry has trained in inpatient and outpatient programs, providing assessment and therapeutic intervention for people experiencing mild to severe difficulties. Some of her experience includes her work at Brampton Civic Hospital, the Hospital for Sick Children, and the Simcoe County District School Board. Dr. Perry works with children, adolescents, and their families. She is the founder of Georgian Bay Psychology and has been in private practice for over ten years.

About Fran Dillon

With a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a Bachelor of Education with a Special Education Certificate, Fran has been in the Special Education Field for over 30 years. Her work as a Psychometrist is provided under the supervision of Dr. Perry. Fran brings to her role years of experience in assessment, program planning, and Individual Education Plan development. Fran is committed to meeting the needs of diverse learners.

About Lindsey Hopper

Lindsey Hopper holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a Master's Degree in Education, with Specialist Qualifications in Special Education. She has been working in the Special Education field for 24 years and is experienced in assessment, program planning, and writing of Individualized Education Plans, for a wide variety of students with diverse learning needs. 

About Megan McColm

Megan McColm holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Literature and a Bachelor of Education Degree with additional qualifications in Special Education and Reading. Megan was a Special Education Resource Teacher for many years, with experience assessing, instructing and developing Individualized Education Plans in order to support students with a wide variety of learning needs.
