About Dr Amber Perry

Dr. Perry is the Clinic Director. She is a registered Clinical and School Psychologist with the College of Psychologists of Ontario, and a member of the Canadian Psychological Association. Dr. Perry obtained her Ph.D. from the University of Toronto and her clinical and research training at the Hospital for Sick Children. She conducted research through the department of Psychiatry Research at The Hospital for Sick Children, working in the area of Pediatric ADHD. Dr. Perry was formerly the Chief Psychologist and Mental Health Lead for a school Board in Sudbury Ontario. Dr. Perry has had training in both inpatient settings and outpatient programs, providing assessment and therapeutic intervention for people experiencing mild to severe difficulties. Some of her experience includes her work at Brampton Civic Hospital, the Hospital for Sick Children and the Simcoe County District School Board. Dr. Perry works with children, adolescents and their families. She is the founder of Georgian Bay Psychology and has been in private practice for over 10 years. 

Dr. Perry's mission is to provide individualized, high quality care.

About Fran Dillon

With a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a Bachelor of Education with a a Special Education Certificate, Fran has been in the Special Education Field for over 30 years. Her work as a Psychometrist is provided under the supervision of Dr. Perry. Fran brings to her role years of experience in assessment, program planning and Individual Education Plan development. Fran is committed to meeting the needs of diverse learners.

About Michelle Lloyd

Michelle is an art therapist with a Master's degree in Counselling Psychology, specializing in art therapy. She is a professional member with the Canadian Art Therapy Association, and the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. Michelle has many years of experience working with children, adolescents and families. Michelle believes that self-expression, creativity and art making can help us process and heal from challenges. She focuses on providing quality care in a collaborative and safe environment to enable clients to explore, express and create. This form of therapy is particularly beneficial with children and youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or Developmental Disabilities. Michelle also has expertise in play therapy with young children.

Daytime and evening appointments available starting September 2018.
